Chowtszchiu, Ken (b.1994) is a student artist. He graduated in HKDI, the course called Landscape Architecture. Now he is studying in BA(Hons) Fine Art programme of Birmingham City University. He like using photography as a creative approach.He interested in photography topics including life, city, nature.He believes that a good photography can inspire audiences to think in new ways.He also has a strong interest in basketball.From primary school to university. He has a total three gold medals of basketball.

周梓超出生於1994年，是一位學生藝術家。他畢業於香港知專設計學院的園境建築課程，現就讀於伯明翰城市大學文學（榮譽）的美術課程。他喜歡透過攝影作為創作手法，感興趣的攝影主題包括生活，城市，自然。他相信一張好的攝影作品能夠為觀眾帶來新的看法。同時他對籃球也有濃厚的興趣，從小學到大學，他共有三面籃球金牌。

Artist Statements

​

To capture a second and to preserve it for eternity is why I like photography. People and things around my life are constantly changing. Our memories are so fragile. To use photography to preserve the most precious memories, is a wonderful thing of artistic creation. Photography can also present new worlds to the viewer and encourage them to experience new things.

 

My work is about the relationship between the city and nature. Through the process of special image processing I hope to make the visitor have a new experience with the city and nature in Hong Kong. The work transforms the color of plants and buildings. I want to highlight the plants to reader because they pay no attention to with the plants in their life.

 

We live in our city every day. But we ignore the most mundane things in our life. But just because we miss something does not mean it is not important. It's just that we didn't really appreciate the things around us. My practice hopes to encourage people re-read things around them.

 

I want to expand my practice into other landscapes, where nature is more established within the confines of the city.

捕捉一瞬間然後可以保持永恆是我喜歡攝影的原因，在我生活中的人和事不斷在變化，我們的記憶是如此脆弱，用攝影保存最珍貴的回憶，是藝術創作的美好之舉，攝影還可以向觀眾展示新的世界，並鼓勵他們體驗新的事物。

我的藝術作品是描述城市與自然之間的關係。我希望通過特殊的圖像處理過程，使觀眾對香港的城市與自然有新的認識。該作品該变了植物和建筑物的色彩。我想向觀眾強調這些植物，因為在他們的生活中一直忽略植物。

​

我們每天都生活在我們的城市，但是我們忽略了生活中最平凡的事物，但我們錯過了某件事情并不意味着它并不重要。只是我们并不真正欣賞周圍的事物。我的做法是希望鼓勵人們重新閱讀周圍的事物。

​

我想將自己的實踐擴展到其他景觀中，在城市範圍内建立更多自然景觀。
